BIO Additives for PP & PP
Biogradable additive product is made in Vietnam. this is a biogradable additive which creates a chemical environment, allowing polyethylene material to decompose into carbon dioxide, water and neutral, non-toxic substance, then being assimilated into the environment.
Decomposition process of BIO Additives At the end of plastic product life cycle, plastics with this additives start decomposing under natural circumstances with sunlight, temperature and oxygen.
– Stage 1: oxidative degradation: and oxidation reaction leads to breakdown of links in polymer polyolefin chains, subsenquently creates oxidated sustances with equivalent atomic weight of carbonxylic acid.
In this stage, BIO products become brittle and naturally assimilated by microorganisms. Oxidation of this BIO products is proven by many abiotic experiments including thermal heat and UV light under ASTM standards and GPC analysis on atomic mass.
– Stage 2: this is the stage when products of stage 1 with low atomic weight begins to decompose. Oxidation and reduction results in biological assimilation under soil or composting conditions.
In this stage, plastics components is degraded by microorganisms, and the results of this process are carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O) and mass generated from metabolism process of microorganisms.
